ok. ok. so the much awaited post for the school of rock audition has finally come! if you are interested on attending school of rock and haven’t heard ANYTHING here are some quick details. the dates are June 22-29 right after BigStuf. the times are to be announced upon acceptance into the “school.” the process of attending is through audition. the audition will be held THIS SUNDAY at 3pm in the CrossPoint Center. upon arrival bring all your gear you want (except drums will be provided) and one prepared piece that will show all of your best abilities. that includes, solos, rhythm, singing, whatever. if you rock to an mp3, bring it on an iPod or CD and we’ll play it as you jam along for us. THEN you will be asked to play a piece that has rarely been heard. something that is only accessible right now. if you go the website and click on the school of rock logo, then a .pdf should pop up with the chord chart. if you want the mp3 you need to email me at matt@scottshill.org. i have a lot of peoples emails already but for assurance, if you want it, email me and i will send it to you for you to prepare! any questions, just comment or email me! thanks! let’s rock.
